*SPOILERS*

My phone still wasn’t fully charged, so I lay down beside the plug on my rug.
“Hey” I said quietly, so I wouldn’t wake up Xemerius, who was asleep on my bed. If he really slept at all and not just pretended to do so.
“Leslie took the bus, I’m walking home. I think, some fresh air is exactly what I need right now.”
“Was the fight that bad?”
“No, not at all. I was just really shocked when she pulled my hair back and examined my ears.”
“Oh.”
Xemerius opened one of his eyes and stared at me.
“She said, she read that earlobes conclude to the character of human beings, but she wouldn’t tell me what my ears give away about me.”
I was pretty sure, Leslie just wanted to check if he hid jug ears under his hair, but I didn’t tell him that.
